Favor Sound brings club-informed mixing, professional sound and a clear plan to birthdays, private parties, brand events and one-off celebrations across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.
This is for hosts who care what gets played and want the room to feel more like a proper night out than a stereotypical mobile disco.

Music and hosting

Before the event, Ed will ask about the music you actually like, the obvious do-not-plays, the age range and any moments that need announcing. On the night, the set moves with the crowd rather than following a fixed playlist in order.
Microphone use can stay minimal or cover clear introductions and key announcements. Karaoke, novelty props, party games and constant mic chat are not the Favor Sound format.

Coverage
Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.
Favor Sound is based in Lincoln and travels across Lincolnshire and the wider East Midlands. Longer-distance UK events are considered by arrangement.
Travel is charged at £0.55 per mile for the outward and return journeys from West Parade, Lincoln, then confirmed against the actual venue and timings.

How much does party DJ hire cost?
Favor Sound party and event packages start at £800. Travel, planned extra hours, the finish time and any extra sound requirements can change the final quote.
What kinds of private party do you DJ?
Favor Sound considers birthdays, private celebrations, brand events, launches, work socials, afterparties and other adult music-led events. Send the actual format and audience rather than trying to squeeze it into a wedding-shaped brief.
Is this a traditional mobile disco?
The service includes professional mobile sound and lighting, but the style is closer to a good club or late-night bar: considered mixing, music shaped around the crowd and microphone use agreed in advance.
Can guests request songs at a party?
Yes. Requests can be open, filtered around the host’s taste or limited to approved choices. Ed decides where suitable tracks fit rather than interrupting the set on demand.
How long can the DJ play?
The standard packages include up to five hours of evening DJing. Extra time can be arranged at £60 per additional hour or part-hour in advance, subject to the venue and availability.
Do you provide sound, lighting and microphones?
Yes. Professional sound, dance-floor lighting and a clean DJ booth are included, with wireless microphones where suitable. Larger or unusual spaces may need a separate technical plan.
